Terms & conditions

The provider ~ PhotoFunBooths.  
The hirer ~ the person making the booking.

1.) All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of £100.

2.) Full payment must be made no later than 1 calendar month prior to the event.

3.) Cancellations
Any cancellations must be made in writing.  More than 30 days from the date of the event, we will reimburse all money paid minus the deposit which remains non-refundable.  Less than 30 days from the date of the event will result in forfeiture of all monies paid

4.) Hire Period
The provider will arrive & set up the photobooth approx 1-2 hours before the hire period is due to commence.  If the hirer requires the booth to be set up earlier than this additional “idle hours” charges may apply.  It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the venue agrees to PhotoFunBooths being in attendance.  It is also the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the venue is suitable for the installation & use of the photobooth.  A level, flat surface with a minimum space of 4m(L) x 2m(W) x 2m(H) (includes the use of an additional table) is required with access to an electrical socket nearby.

5.) The operating period will be a set period, typically 3 hours as specified and agreed at the time of booking.  If we are unable to begin on time due to the event running late or other circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to cease operation at the agreed end time.  If any delay in the start time is deemed to be the fault of the provider we will continue to operate for the period of operating time agreed at the time of booking.  PhotoFunBooths agree to have the photobooth operating for at least 80% of the operating period, operations may need to be interrupted for servicing of the booth (replacing printer paper & ink etc).

6.) Whilst we encourage persons of all ages to enjoy and use the booth, we must remind hirers that PhotoFunBooths is not a child minding service and all children should be accompanied at all times by a parent or adult guardian.

7.) Our staff will treat your guests with respect and ask that your guests do likewise with our staff.  Threatening or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. PhotoFunBooths reserve the right to terminate the hire at any time if our staff are threatened or intimidated by the behaviour of guests or they feel any of the equipment has been or may be damaged. No refund will be issued in these circumstances. We will always attempt to speak with the host to try to resolve any issues prior to withdrawing. No food or drink is allowed in the booth.

8.) The hirer agrees that all photos taken in the photobooth can be uploaded to a web gallery on our website and social media pages.  All images remain the property of PhotoFunBooths. PhotoFunBooths reserves the right to use any and all images taken during an event for marketing and other promotional activities involving both digital, web & printed material.  At no time will The Provider disclose identities of any individuals therein.  The hirer will be required to sign the booking form stating that they have read and agree to the terms & conditions.  It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that users of the photobooth are made aware that their images may be uploaded to our website and social media pages.  If anyone objects to their image being uploaded it shall be for that person to make this known to the booth operators at the earliest opportunity. Please view our privacy policy for further details.

9.) Damages, occurring to our equipment or the booth as a result of negligence or negligent behaviour during a hire session by the hirer, their guests or other persons present at the venue will be compensated in full by the hirer, this includes any future loss of business arising out of the booth not being available for other bookings. Props are provided as an accessory item during the session and remain the property of PhotoFunBooths.  The hirer is responsible for any loss resulting from theft or negligent damage to the props whilst we’re onsite.  In some instances we may require an additional deposit to cover such losses which is refundable after the event.  PhotoFunBooths will take every effort to prevent loss or damage to any memory album being created during an event, however will not be held responsible for any damage incurred by the guests from spillage or other negligent behaviour.

10.) All prices quoted are inclusive of any travel and/or accommodation unless specified otherwise.  We reserve the right to consider a surcharge for any significant increase in fuel costs from the time of booking and the event date.

11.) Events beyond our control.  
If PhotoFunBooths are unable to fulfil a booking for any reason beyond our control a full refund less any immediate costs will be made.  We will always make all reasonable efforts to attend all events.  Where circumstances make this impossible due to, but not limited to, adverse weather, traffic delays, breakdown of vehicles, equipment failure or sickness, PhotoFunBooths will make every effort to contact the hirer or the venue as soon as possible.  
In these circumstances a full refund will be made.  
Where the circumstances as mentioned above cause the a delay in the start time we will be happy to extend the agreed finish time according to the amount of time delayed.
